The benefits of pellet fuel

Depending on the furnace model, Pinnacle pellets may furnish between 6,000 to several million BTU per hour. From a cozy fire in the family room to a main heat source for commercial, industrial and greenhouse applications, pellets can fill the bill.

Because pellet stoves burn so efficiently, some do not even require conventional chimneys, just small diameter, easily installed, and inexpensive venting. Pellet burning appliances need to be refueled less frequently than most other wood burning appliances, usually from once a day to twice a week.

To refuel, you simply pour the pellets into a hopper, which holds between 35 and 130 pounds of pellets. These are then transferred to the fire chamber to be burned as needed.

Burning wood pellets with a pellet stove or insert is convenient, tidy, safe and makes it easy to maintain steady and comfortable room temperature. The fuel is compressed and bagged for clean, easy storage and handling. Pellet stoves produce virtually no smoke, produce less odor than other wood burning appliances and cost less than oil, propane or natural gas.

Depending on the chimney installation required, the cost of a pellet system is often less than that of other types of stoves. With Pinnacle wood pellets, good quality pellet stoves provide days of clean heat and utilize materials that were once simply discarded in landfills or left to rot after logging operations. With these many features, plus excellent environmental benefits, it makes sense to use Pinnacle wood pellets.

Wood pellets are usually available in 40 pound bags and cost a lot less than you think. Commercial quantities are available by tanker truck or 1 ton super bags.
