Packaged Pellets

At Pinnacle we are proud to share this carbon neutral effort with residential customers who have chosen to heat their homes with wood pellet stoves and furnaces. Two packaged products are produced for this sector, standard clean burning SPF pellets - made from a blend of Spruce, Pine and Fir, or premium grade Douglas Fir – especially made in campaigns for its higher heat value and lower ash content. Both products meet Germany’s stringent DINplus specifications.

Residential fuel pellets are available in 40lb (18.15kg) bags, on pallets which configurations include 2000, 2200 and 2400 lbs options designed to optimize shipping.

  • SPF:
    • Calorific Value: >17GJ/t (>4.7MWh/t)
    • Ash content: <1%
    • Raw Material: Softwood shavings and sawdust from lumber operations using timber from certified forests.
  • Fir:
    • Calorific Value: >18GJ/t (>5MWh/t)
    • Ash content: <0.5%
    • Fines content: <1%
    • Raw Material: Douglas Fir shavings and sawdust from lumber operations using timber from certified forests.
